As a proofreaders, it’s our business to spot errors in grammar, spelling and pick up the odd typo. The things we all miss because we’ve been over it a hundred times. We will provide the final polish you need for your manuscript before you send it off.
We’re not here to comment on your story or the content. We’ll simply go through your manuscript and weed out grammar issues, spelling, typos and check for consistency. We’re happy to take on any sized project and will consider any genre. We’re British, but that doesn’t limit our capabilities in terms of dealing with US spellings and so on.
We want this to be affordable, especially for Indie authors. The charges for proofreading services are as per below:
- £2 per 1,000 words, which means an 80,000 word manuscript will cost you £160
- For any manuscripts which are over 100,000, please email me and we can discuss a cost
After we have agreed a price, we will invoice you upon completion. We will provide you with a timescale for when you should expect your proofread manuscript back.
If you would like a sample done before we proceed, we’re more than happy to do so if you provide us with a few pages or a chapter depending on the length.
